Open Window Fund
The Open Window Fund serves as the school’s annual fundraising priority, offsetting the full cost of an Open Window education. This includes financial aid, faculty development, hallmark trips, performing arts, and everything in between.
Some of the things the Open Window Fund makes possible include:- academics and authentic learning experiences
- robust arts, technology, and extracurricular programs
- experiential class trips from Islandwood to Costa Rica
- tuition assistance to make Open Window education accessible
- professional development opportunities for faculty and staff
Each year, alumni, current and former families, faculty, friends, corporations, foundations, administration and staff–and even the students themselves–make contributions to the Open Window Fund. Your support is the foundation of our students' success — thank you.
Every donation made to Open Window is received with great appreciation, and we ask that each family make a donation that is personally meaningful to them. Your generous donations are put to work in the current school year and help us to continue to provide exceptional, transformative experiences for all students.
Ways to Give
Check: Please make your check payable to Open Window School.
DAF (Donor Advised Fund): A Donor Advised Fund gives you the flexibility to recommend a grant to Open Window. If you are interested in more information, please contact Molly Rubin at mollyr@ows.org for details.
Stocks & Securities: Donating appreciated stocks or securities is a fantastic way to support Open Window and may offer you a greater tax advantage. Please email Molly Rubin at mollyr@ows.org for information.
Make a Pledge: Make a pledge here. You have until May 1, 2025 to pay.
Don’t Forget to Match! Corporate matching gift programs are a form of giving back in which organizations financially match donations that their employees make to non-profit organizations. Many larger companies offer this benefit, just reach out to your employer’s HR department to learn more. This can double or even triple your gift!
