4th Grader wins All-Girls National Chess Championship
For her victory, Miranda qualifies to represent the USA at the 2024 World Cadet Championship, which takes place later this year in Brazil.
A hearty congratulations to Miranda Meng, a 4th grader at Open Window School in Bellevue, who recently won 1st Place at the 2024 KCF All-Girls Nationals Championships in Chicago, IL! Miranda tied for 1st Place in the Girls Under 10 division with 5 wins and one draw out of 6 games. For her victory, Miranda qualifies to represent the USA at the 2024 World Cadet Championship, which takes place later this year in Brazil. This year's All-Girls Nationals, the 19th edition, broke an attendance record with 512 participants. Congratulations Miranda!!
